Photographic Print Design

Thomas Voorn developed patterns of haberdashery for a client. Each item has been photographed and incorporated piece by piece into one print of 24 metres. An overview of bobbins, press studs, buttons, zippers, applications, leather elbow patches, needles, thread, pins...and more.

Balancing the designs between a graphic rhythm and random patterns, digital vs. handmade. Looking for interesting colour and material combinations, to create an unique photographic print using one aspect of the fashion industry; 'haberdashery'.
